(Reuters) – An area of low pressure along the coast of northeastern South Carolina has about a 60% chance of cyclone formation in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Wednesday.
“A tropical or subtropical cyclone is likely to form within the next couple of days,” the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
