TOWN OF RIB MOUNTAIN, WI (WSAU) — Granite Peak Ski Resort will close on Wednesday.
In a Facebook post operators say that’s due to the forecasted warmth and light rain, which will make conditions less than ideal for skiers and snowboarders.
Wednesday’s high is predicted to hit 54 with rain showers likely later in the day. Lows are predicted to stay above freezing Wednesday night into Thursday.
Granite Peak was able to begin snow-making operations in early November and opened for the season on November 24th.
