PHOENIX, AZ (WSAU) — The Wisconsin Badger football team will finish their season tonight in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix vs Oklahoma State.
The Badgers will be without several starters including quarterback Graham Mertz, center Joe Tippmann, linebacker Nick Herbig and nose tackle Keeanu Benton.
Oklahoma State will be without their quarterback Spencer Sanders, tailback Dominic Richardson and linebacker Mason Cobb.
It’s expected that Wisconsin should be able to run the ball against the Cowboys who come in 96th in the country against the run. Both UW tailbacks, Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi are healthy.
It’s also expected that Chase Wolf will get his first start at quarterback for the Badgers.
New coach Luke Fickell will be on the field for Wisconsin. The Badgers are three point favorites.
