WASHINGTON DC (WSAU) – During a Monday closed-door meeting, President Joe Biden’s son was reportedly on more than twenty calls with his father, according to information from Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer to the House Oversight Committee.
According to The Daily Wire, to investigate Devon Archer, who co-chaired Burisma’s board of directors with Hunter Biden, who claims Hunter put then-Vice President Joe Biden on speaker phone roughly two dozen times as Hunter spoke to his foreign business partners or investors, starting in 2014, the committee was planning to question Archer for about five hours, with Republican and Democratic members switching back and forth.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), an oversight member, told The Daily Mail that Archer stated that “the Bidens were in the actual business of influence peddling.”
“We have Devon Archer coming out and telling the truth that Hunter Biden and Joe Biden spoke over 20 times about his business deals, not about the weather, not about what was for lunch about his business deals,” Greene added.
According to a statement from Republican Kentucky Rep. James Comer, leader of the House Oversight Committee, Archer also informed the committee that Joe Biden “attended a business dinner” at Café Milano in Washington, D.C., in the spring of 2014, with his son and associates.
Democratic New York Rep. Dan Goldman was not sold on Archer’s testimony and told reporters that Archer said, “Hunter would put his father on speakerphone with whomever was at dinner and there wasn’t any indication that he had any idea who was at dinner.”
Democrats on the House Oversight Committee reportedly planned to draw attention to a transcripted interview with Mykola Zlochevsky, co-founder of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, who denied having any contact with Joe Biden while Hunter Biden worked for the company. The Biden administration, including the president, has repeatedly claimed he did not speak with his son about foreign business dealings.
Documents retrieved from Hunter’s abandoned laptop, source interviews, and subpoenaed records are all shown in an exclusive report by The Daily Mail. These records show possible foreign influence violations from China, Russia, and Ukraine to Romania, Kazakhstan, Mexico, and other Latin American nations.
