WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The rise in long-term bond yields and drop in the dollar may show investors turning away from the U.S. as the best place to invest, Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari said on Friday.
“Investors around the world have viewed America as the best place to invest…One of the ways that expresses itself is lower yields,” Kashkari said on CNBC. “If investors decide we want to invest elsewhere…that ought to be pushing up yields.”
