MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — After being shutout on Friday and Saturday, the Milwaukee Brewers offense came to life and they beat the Minnesota Twins 5-2 on Sunday afternoon at American Family Field.
The Brewers did need some sparking defense to preserve the win. Jackson Chourio robbed Royce Lewis of a two-run homer that would have tied the game in the 8th inning.
Sal Frelick and Issac Collins had two hits apiece for the Brewers. Freddy Peralta picked up the win.
The Brewers host the Baltimore Orioles tonight…pre game show at 6:05 on WSAU.
