STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — The City of Stevens Point has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for a riverfront development.
The 2.71-acre site is located near Water and Third Streets and is zoned as a Central Business District. It is also located within the city’s historic downtown district.
“The Edgewater site is a beautiful one: adjacent to the Green Circle Trail and Wisconsin River, development of this site has the potential to bring more residents and employees to waterfront views,” said Mayor Mike Wiza in a press release. “The council and I are optimistic the City can bring forward an attractive development that will bring the potential to reality.”
