MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — Freddy Peralta allowed no earned runs and just two hits over five innings on Thursday, but the Milwaukee offense failed to produce as the Philadelphia Phillies came away with a 2-0 victory.
Peralta struck out eight and walked three, but left with a no-decision. Tobias Myers and Joel Payamps each allowed a run in the 7th and 9th, respectively, with Myers (1-2) taking the loss.
Andrew Vaughn accounted for nearly half of the Crew’s offensive production on the day, going 3-4 with a double. Caleb Durbin recorded two hits, and Isaac Collins finished 1-4 with a double.
The Brewers went 0-10 with runners in scoring position.
