ARLINGTON, TX (WSAU) — The Texas Rangers completed a sweep of a three game series as they beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-3 on Wednesday afternoon.
Freddy Peralta took the loss for Milwaukee giving up five runs over five innings with nine strikeouts.
Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio had home runs for the Brewers.
The Cubs beat Atlanta so Chicago moves to 5 1/2 games behind the Brewers in the Central Division. Milwaukee has the night off before hosting the St Louis Cardinals on Friday night.
