MADISON, WI (WSAU) — The Wisconsin football team could have it’s starting quarterback for this week’s game with Maryland.
Badgers coach Luke Fickell said Monday that Billy Edwards Jr. is “day-to-day” ahead of the Big Ten opener on Saturday. Edwards had not played since suffering a knee sprain in the season opener vs Miami, Ohio.
Edwards is a former Maryland player who came to the Badgers through the transfer portal.
