TOWN OF SENECA (WSAU-WAOW) – A rollover crash occurred on June 19, 2025, in the Town of Seneca, resulting in a fatality. At approximately 6:00pm., Shawano County Dispatch received a 911 call about the crash on CTH D, just south of CTH J.
Deputies, along with local fire and EMS agencies, responded to the scene. The investigation revealed that a passenger car traveling northbound lost control and entered a ditch. Speed was a contributing factor.
The vehicle was driven by an adult male, who, along with a juvenile male passenger, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to the hospital. Another juvenile male passenger was found unresponsive and pronounced deceased at the scene despite life-saving efforts. All occupants were from the Seymour area.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Department received assistance from multiple local agencies.
The crash remains under investigation.
