(LEARFIELD) – It was just another routine day at Lambeau Field until the Micah Parsons trade which occurred after Packers coach Matt LaFleur had met with the media.
Among the things LaFleur discussed was how much progress has Matthew Golden made over the past month.
LaFleur also talked about what Malik Heath did to land a spot on the 53.
There is still some question on who will be the starting left tackle for the Packers. LaFleur talked about what determines who starts at that position.
The Packers have split reps at that position in the past. Could they do it again?
Love update: Instead of a standard practice, the Packers scrimmaged on Thursday. Jordan Love talked about how that went.
He talked about trying to get injured players some extra work this week as they look to return to action.
Love offered an update on his thumb.
He said that playing injured isn’t ideal.
The Packers open the regular season 1 week from this Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
