TORONTO, ON (WSAU) — Starter Freddy went six innings to pick up his 16th win of the year as Milwaukee defeated Toronto 7-2 on Friday.
Peralta allowed just one hit and struck out eight, allowing a total of three baserunners (one hit, one walk, and one HBP). Aaron Ashby allowed a pair of seventh-inning runs, but that was as close as the Jays would get.
Andrew Vaughn led the offense with three hits, all singles. Brice Turang, Issac Collins, and Caleb Durbin each added two hits.
Andruw Monasterio belted a solo home run in the 6th, his only hit of the day.
