WAUPACA, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A 38-year-old man is behind bars for allegedly sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.
Waupaca Police said they were trying to find a runaway girl, when they witnessed her talk to a man, then disappear into an alley. Police said there they found Jaime Rodriguez Zambrano in the backseat of the car, allegedly sexually assaulting the girl.
He’s facing two counts of child enticement and two counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child. He’s currently being held in the Waupaca County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond.
