GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU-MetroSource) – The Packers opened the season with a 27-13 win over the Lions at Lambeau Field.
Jordan Love threw for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Jacobs extended his franchise record after scoring a rushing touchdown in his ninth consecutive game.
Jared Goff completed 31 of his 39 pass attempts for 225 yards, one touchdown, and a pick. Detroit is 0-1 to start the season.
Green Bay begins the year 1-0 and will host the Washington Commanders on Thursday night.
