Milwaukee Brewers
ARLINGTON, TX (WSAU) — The Texas Rangers knocked off the Milwaukee Brewers 5-0 on Monday night in Texas. The Rangers scored four runs in the fifth inning and were never challenged.
Milwaukee managed only six hits in the game. Carlos Quintana started and gave up all five runs in 6 2/3 innings of work. He gave up a grand slam to rookie Michael Helman in the fifth.
The Brewers, now 89-56, are still 7 1/2 games up on Chicago in the Central Division. They play at Texas tonight…pre game show at 6:30 on WSAU.
