Milwaukee Brewers
WASHINGTON, DC (WSAU) — Milwaukee had more than enough offense to back up Jacob Misorowski’s bid for a no-hitter in a 6-1 win on Friday.
William Contreras recorded his second four-hit day of the week, going 4-5 with four singles and three RBI. Tyler Black added two hits, including an RBI double.
David Hamilton finished 2-4 with a run scored.
The Brewers recorded 12 hits in the win.
Misorowski pitched into the 6th inning, allowing just two walks before he was removed from the game with muscle cramps. Aaron Ashby and Easton McGee combined to close the game, with Ashby allowing the lone Nationals run.
Milwaukee is now 17-14 on the season. The same two teams will play again this afternoon, with coverage starting at 2:30 on WSAU.
