MARSHFIELD, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – Marshfield Police posted to social media around 10pm Tuesday night that they are investigating an “active situation” in the 1000 block of South Oak Avenue.
They say residents in the 1000 block of South Oak and South Severns Avenue are asked to shelter in place and lock their doors.
South Oak Avenue is closed from 14th Street to 8th Street.
Police ask everyone to avoid the area and seek alternative routes of travel.
