Wall St gains at open as AI optimism overshadows Middle East risks

May 26 (Reuters) – Wall Street’s main indexes opened ​higher ‌on Tuesday, with AI-fueled optimism overshadowing concerns over ‌Middle ​East ⁠peace talks after ⁠recent U.S. strikes on Iran.

The Dow Jones ​Industrial Average rose 106.5 ⁠points, ⁠or 0.21%, at ​the open to ​50,686.15. The S&P ‌500 rose 38.3 points, or 0.51%, ⁠at the open to 7,511.79, while the ⁠Nasdaq ‌Composite rose ⁠246.5 points, ​or ‌0.94%, to ​26,590.504 at ⁠the opening bell.
