MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) The Brewers pulled away late in an 8-3 win over the Giants.
Kyle Harrison tied his season high with 12 strikeouts, allowing only one run against his former team. He improved to 7-1 this season.
The Brewers played from in-fr0nt after a 3-run home run from Jake Bauers in the 1st inning. The Giants got within one run in the 8th and left the go-ahead runners on base. The Brewers put the game out of reach with 5-runs in the bottom of the 8th.
The Brewers are now 16 games above .500, their high water mark for the season. They lead the NL Central by 5 1/2 games.
The Brewers and Giants continue their series at 6:05pm tonight on WSAU.
