MADISON, WI (WSAU) – The father of the Abundant Life Christian School shooter will go on trial next year.
Jeffrey Rupnow was the owner of the guns that his daughter Natalie Rupnow used in the shooting in 2024.
He is charged with two counts of selling a dangerous weapon to a person under 18 and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Natalie Rupnow killed two people at the school and then took her own life. Six were wounded.
Jeffrey Rupnow bought both of the guns. His daughter was paying him back for one of them. The second firearm was taken from her father’s gun locker.
The trial is scheduled to begin on March 8th. The next scheduling conference will be in September.
