MERRILL, WI (WSAU-WAOW) — A Marathon City woman accused of trying to get someone to kill the father of her child has pleaded not guilty.
WAOW TV reports that Angela Volm, 45, is charged in Lincoln County with solicitation of first-degree homicide. The victim told police that Volm sent him threatening text messages. A witness told police that Volm asked him to “make a person disappear.”
She was charged in June. Last week, her cash bond was reduced from $100,000 to just $5,000. That was posted, and she is free with several conditions.
Volm is next due for a scheduling conference on Sept. 10.
