WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WI (WSAU) — A Vesper man has been arrested on suspicion of child enticement, with additional charges possible as detectives search his devices.
Michael Peckham was arrested on Tuesday following an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. After his arrest, officers served a search warrant at his home in Vesper and seized multiple electronic devices.
Those will be searched over the next few weeks, and officers anticipate additional charges will be filed.
Peckham, 58, was convicted of possession of child pornography in 2012 after pleading no contest. He served five years on probation and nine months in jail with work-release privileges as part of a stayed sentence, which he completed in 2017.
No further information was released.
