Revolution forward Jack Harrison received his United States Green Card and P-1 visa and is now eligible to play for New England, the club announced Sunday.
Harrison, an Englishman, will be classified as a domestic player on the roster and fit to play when the Revolution host the Houston Dynamo on Saturday.
Harrison, 29, was acquired last Sunday from Leeds United FC of the English Premier League. The Revs subsequently signed him to a contract through the 2029-30 season.
Harrison recorded 54 goals and 50 assists in more than 375 appearances across all competitions with Leeds United, Everton, Middlesbrough, Italy’s Fiorentina and New York City FC of MLS.
During two seasons with NYCFC (2016-17), Harrison notched 14 goals and 13 assists in 55 regular-season games. He scored 10 goals in 2017.
