(WNFL) – Kyle McCord completed 22-of-35 passes for 226 yards and rallied the Green Bay Packers to a 42-38 win over the Arizona Cardinals at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Friday night.
McCord also threw 4 touchdown passes.
McCord said that he wanted to put out a good tape and play football.
On whether or not his performance was good enough to get him a spot on the final roster, McCord said that that was out of his control.
McCord did say that he was happy with his situational football.
J. Michael Sturdivant has 6 catches for 112 yards and a touchdown for the Packers while Will Sheppard had an 81-yard punt return and caught a 12-yard touchdown pass.
Sturdivant talked about what he put on tape for the Packers and other teams to look at.
Jaden Nixon led the Packers in rushing with 44 yards on 9 carries.
The Packers finished with 282 yards of offense while Arizona piled up 492 yards of offense.
Next up for the Packers is the season opener at Minnesota on September 13.
