TRENTON, NJ (WSAU) – The Trenton Police Department has opened an investigation into a shooting that happened following a cookout early Sunday morning.
According to the New York Post, cops responded to a house on Locust Street about 12:25 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired and discovered 11 victims with gunshot wounds. The shooting reportedly began after an argument between a half-dozen persons at a community BBQ.
Initial details regarding the victims’ conditions were not known when they were brought to the neighboring Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Two of the victims have since passed away.
The Trenton Police and the Homicide Task Force of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating, and no arrests have been made.
