Gas station shooting suspect in Shawano, WI
SHAWANO, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A gas station clerk was shot during an attempted armed robbery at a Shawano gas station on Wednesday, September. 2.
The Shawano Police Department was dispatched to People’s Express gas station at 716 South Main Street around 9:30pm for a report of shots fired. Shawano Police and Shawano County Sheriff’s deputies determined it was an attempted armed robbery.
The gas station attendant was shot and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The clerk was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The lone suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. No arrests have been made.
