IOWA CITY, IA (WSAU) Iowa’s defense shut out Wisconsin, 30-0.
It’s the second straight year the Hawkeyes have shut out the Badgers. Iowa has won five straight in the rivalry series.
“It’s very, very disappointing,” Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell said. “I’m not sitting here saying I’ve got any answers for you. I’m not pointing fingers at anybody or anything because in all three phases of the game, we were completely manhandled for 60 minutes.”
Momentum changed late in the first half when the Badgers were stopped on 4th and goal with the score 10-0. Iowa marched down the field for another touchdown and added a late field goal. They led 20-0 at halftime.
The Badgers, now 5-3, host Rutgers next Saturday.
