ST LOUIS, MO (WSAU) – Jackson Churio was in the Brewers line-up for the first time this season in a 6-3 loss to the Cardinals. Churio went 4-for-4 with two doublles and a walk. He’d been injuried since spring training when he was hit on the hand in a World Baseball Classic game,
Klyle Leahy pitched 5 1/3 innings for the Cardonals, allowing just 1 run. He struck out 5 and scattered six hits.
Ivan Herrera drove in three runs.
Chad Patrick, 2-2, took the loss.
The Brewers and Cardinals continue their series Tuesday night at 6:10pm on WSAU.
