MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Milwaukee Brewers are placing one of their top young pitchers on the injured list and calling up one of their more consistent minor league arms.
According to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, starting pitcher Logan Henderson has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to a lower back strain and is expected to return in mid-June. Coleman Crow will be called back up from AAA-Nashville to make Henderson’s next start against the Cardinals on Wednesday.
Crow, who is 4-1 with a 4.89 ERA for the Sounds this season, has a 2.61 ERA in two major league starts in 2026.
The loss of Henderson will be a minor setback for the Brewers, as he has pitched well this season, but more pitching help is on the way, as Quinn Priester is scheduled to make another rehab start for the Sounds tomorrow, and Brandon Woodruff is scheduled to throw 4 innings of live batting practice next week.
