MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) — The Cincinnati Reds turned a handful of unearned runs into a 7-2 matinee victory in Milwaukee.
Brewers starter Jacob Misiorowski gave up five runs and struck out ten in five innings, taking the loss. Just one of those runs was earned.
Milwaukee’s struggles extended to the offense, as they recorded four hits, including a solo home run from Garrett Mitchell and an RBI double from Brice Turang.
TJ Friedl recorded a home run and an RBI base hit to seal the game. Sal Stewart and Jose Trevino recorded home runs for the Reds.
Milwaukee won the four-game set 3-1 and begins a three-game set in Arizona on Friday. Pregame coverage will begin at 8:05 on WSAU.
It’s the first stop on a three-city road trip that will include a doubleheader in St. Louis on Tuesday, July 7th, and a three-game set against the Pirates before the All-Star Break.
