HANSEN, WI (WSAU-WAOW) – A UTV crash in the Township of Hansen sent two people to the hospital, one was airlifted Friday afternoon.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vehicle crash on Lincoln Road near Spruce Road at about 2:44 p.m. July 11.
Investigators say the UTV was traveling eastbound on Lincoln Road when it entered the ditch and overturned. Both the male operator and female passenger were injured in the crash.
The female passenger was airlifted to Marshfield Medical Center. The male operator was treated at the scene by medical personnel and released.
The Vesper Fire Department, Pittsville Fire Department, Life Link II and Nieman’s Towing assisted at the scene.
