TOWN OF RINGLE, MN (WSAU) — Victims of the April tornado and flooding in Marathon County are being offered recovery assistance through a mobile disaster recovery center at the Ringle Town Hall, 223207 Abt Road.
According to a news release from Marathon County, federal officials will be posted at the Municipal Center Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The move comes as those who experienced uninsured losses from the storms are learning how much they have qualified for.
Those letters have been sent out via US Mail and through the DisasterAssistance.gov website. Residents can also get help applying for disaster assistance at the center. The deadline to apply is August 31st.
Those looking for assistance are encouraged to verify the center’s hours before heading out, in case unexpected changes have occurred. The Marathon County website also provides information on how to apply for assistance and what to expect after you’ve submitted an application.
