MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Willian Contreras blasted a three-run homer in the bottom of the 9th inning to lift the Brewers to a 3-1 sweep of the Marlins.
The Brewers had been shut-out and managed only two hits before the final frame.
Milwaukee came from behind in all three games to complete a sweep of the Marlins.
Tne 9th began with a hit from Jackson Churio and a walk to Brice Turang before Contrares’ 10th home run of the season and his second career walk-off homer.
Jacob Misiorowski (10-4, 1.62 ERA) will face former Brewer Freddy Peralta (5-8, 4.66 ERA) in the opener of a three-game series against the New York Mets on Monday. Game coverage begins at 6:05pm on WSAU.
