TOWN OF HAMMEL, WI (WSAU) — A Medford man is dead after a motorcycle crash on County Road M in the Town of Hammel.
According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Scott Williams was found dead after co-workers reported that he hadn’t shown up for work Monday morning. A few minutes later, they received a call regarding a motorcycle crash along County Road M.
Williams, 56, was found dead at the scene. Investigators say he was riding eastbound when his motorcycle left the road and entered the ditch. He was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
No one else was involved in the crash.
The incident remains under investigation, and no further details will be released at this time.
