Sara Pientka
STEVENS POINT, WI (WSAU) — Bond has been set for two people accused of killing a 57-year-old woman in the Town of Carson.
Sara Pientka will be held on a $1 million cash bond. Her boyfriend, 60-year-old Landon Hood, will be held on a half-million-dollar bond.
The two are accused of killing Jeanette Pientka, Sara’s sister, on Tuesday. Officers found Sara dead in a home on County Road M after responding to a report of someone suffering “severe, traumatic injuries.”
Both Sara Pientka and Hood will return to court on July 27th. Officers have recommended charges for first-degree intentional homicide, which would come with an automatic life sentence if they are convicted.
