Milwaukee Brewers
MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) – The Brewers got home runs from Brice Turang and Joey Ortiz to rally to beat the Reds, 5-3. Cincinnati surrendered a 3-0 lead in the late innings.
Ortiz’s 2-run homer came with two outs in the 8th and proved to be the difference in the game. Turang tied the game with a solo-shot in the 7th.
Reds pitcher Nick Lodolo had held the Brewers to only one hit through 5-innings.
Aaron Ashby pitched a scoreless 8th inning and was creditied with the win.
The Brewers and Reds continue their series tonight at 6:05pm on WSAU. Brandon Sproat (2-4) is scheduled to pitch.
