MILWAUKEE, WI (WSAU) Kyle Harrison outpitched Paul Skenes in a 4-2 Brewers win over the Pirates.
Harrison, who left the game due to cramping after pitching 6-innings, struck out the final 8 batters he faced. He allowed no runs and 1-hit, improving his record to 9-2.
Abner Uribe worked a perfect 8th inning before Tervor Megill came on for his 20th save in a three-up three-down 9th.
Christian Yelich, dropped down in the Brewers’ batting order, had two hits and an RBI.
The Brewers send newly aquired pitcher Dustin May to the mound in the series finale on Thursday. Game coverage begins at 12:35pm on WSAU.
